In enterprise sales, so many conversations happen at once, and you are going from pitching a late-stage opportunity, to thinking about propsecting pipeline for the next quarter. Every conversation has different people, initiatives, and context that you need to find out. Projects help you organize that chaos.
You can use a project to group accounts, personas, and searches, so that you can have different searches depending on the vertical and deal stage. For example, if you sell software to developers, you create
UK SaaS nurture: a new target market who hasn't bought from you and you need conversations in addition to leads. Personas are high level, like "technology" or "engineer". Searches cover broad initiatives like "digital transformation"
UK SaaS outbounding: you know this target market well. They know you. This market is where the majority of your pipeline comes from. Personas are targeted, like "Cloud COE" or "DevSecOps". Searches cover specific initiatives like "lift and shift".
DeveloperCon 2020 List: this is a list from a marketing event. You don't know the accounts in there, but you know why they went to DeveloperCon 2020.
Projects help you group accounts, personas, and searches, so that you can have different searches depending on the vertical and deal stage. When you click into a Project, there is a tab bar on the top center of your screen.
